KALI LINUX:
Kali Linux is an open source Debian based operating system.it is a type of OS. Just, like Windows 7, Windows 8 or Windows 10 the way it is all an Operating system, similarly Kali Linux is also a type of operating system and used for tools, website and penetration testing to find bugs in it.

BACK BOX:
Backbox is an Ubuntu based Linux operating system developed by Raffaele forte and was first released in 2010 in Italy.
In this operating system all the tools are available which are used to perform attack on pc’s/hacking both by white hat and black hat hackers.
In backbox all the tools are fully updated. This system is very fast and is also very easy to use.
It can be used to check web application analysis, vulnerability assessment, exploitation.
The default user interface of the Backbox OS is Xfce and kernel type is Linux.
Even the OS family of Backboxis Linux, which is similar to Unix.


PARROT SECURITY FORENSIC OS:
This OS is also a distribution of Kali Linux, which was created by the frozen box team and used mostly for performing penetration test, computer forensics etc.
It provides the best security testing experience for attackers and security testers.



DEFT LINUX:
In this Operating system we get powerful and every hacker’s famous tools named as “digital advanced response toolkit”.
This OS is distribution of the Ubuntu live Linux cd, launched in 2005 and is very user friendly, mostly loved by security, law and intelligence agencies.
Many default applications are installed in this system like LibreOffice, Firefox, chromium 18 etc.


BACK TRACK:
This operating system is also the distribution of linux.it is used in penetration testing and security auditing.
Backtrack OS has been specially created for not leaving any information at the time of testing.


SAMURAI WEB SECURITY FRAMEWORK:
This web testing framework is a type of live Linux environment which is used for web penetration testing, many good tools for testing and attacking will be found inside this system.


KNOPPIX STD:
This is a Linux based operating system. Before using this system, you must have good knowledge of Linux OS, because in this only the Linux command lines are used mostly.
This system can be used by beginners as well as professionals.
In this there are lot many Kali Linux tools are available.

This OS is composed of both Linux and Ubuntu systems and can be also used to test any live system.
