WHAT IS UBUNTU?

Like windows, Mac OS, Ubuntu is also an operating system.
Ubuntu is an open source operating system that was first released on 20 October, 2004.
It is built on the code base of Debian Linux.

HOW IS UBUNTU NAMED?

It is named after UBUNTU, a South African philosophy that holds in bondage the

sharing of faith that connects all humans.

SOME FACTS ABOUT UBUNTU:

Ubuntu includes all the features of the Unix OS with an additional Customisable GUI, making it popular in universities, colleges, libraries, research organizations etc.

It is one of the most popular forms OS Linux Operating System.

It can be used absolutely free, because it is available for free and this is also its biggest feature.

Ubuntu is now the most commonly used Linux operating system for both desktop and cloud.

The Ubuntu Linux OS is shipping with some big names such as Dell, IBM and few others.

In addition, smaller companies such as System76 are shipping computers exclusively with Ubuntu.

BENEFITS AND USES OF UBUNTU:

Totally free.
The first choice of programmers is Linux OS.
Ubuntu Kernel provides faster and cleaner experience.
There is no virus in this.
Many powerful tools are available in this, by which the user completes any task.
Due to great features of UBUNTU, NASA, ISRO and some of the biggest companies like Google, Yahoo and Microsoft still uses UBUNTU (Linux).

WAYS TO DOWNLOAD UBUNTU:

1.To download UBUNTU, first of all go to the official website of UBUNTU or search " Download ubuntu " in Google.

2. After going to the official website, click on the download button!

3. After that you can download either UBUNTU 32-bit or UBUNTU 64-bit.

STEPS TO INSTALL UBUNTU OS ON YOUR SYSTEM:

First download two software

*One is UBUNTU setup

*Second is Bootable software

You need to make your Pendrive Bootable. For this, universal USB software has to be opened. For which you first open the software.

Click on I agree. Then select UBUNTU. Click on the browser and select open UBUNTU setup. Then select Pendrive. Then click on create and then click on yes. This will make UBUNTU Pendrive Bootable.
As soon as your Pendrive becomes Bootable, you will have to restart your system.
After restart press F12 continuosly. By doing this your window will go into boot mode. Now you have to select USB here.
After doing this one will go into setup mode. then click on the English language first.
Then click on install UBUNTU.
